Refurbishment of two school wings

Re-purposing 2 wings of an operational primary school. Phase 1 creating a SEN wing – Phase 2 creating a Children’s centre.

The challenge

Working in a live environment and working within the existing fabric to accommodate the specialist LED lighting, HVAC and flooring.

Full strip out of the existing footprint of the school’s wings including wall structures and all internal flooring, ceilings, fittings and fixtures
Re-building the internal walls and ceilings to the new design including all fixtures and fittings
Installing new washrooms including new plumbing and waste connections
Full LED installation including SEN lighting schemes
SEN Noise compliant digitally controlled HVAC system installation
Full decoration throughout. Installation of sound reducing ceilings and flooring
